We've incorporated masterpieces by the world-renowned ukiyo-e artist Katsushika Hokusai into glass trays. Use them as trays for stationery or accessories, keeping these famous paintings close at hand.

Katsushika Hokusai (1760-1849)
A ukiyo-e artist of the late Edo period. He painted actor portraits, portraits of beautiful women, and illustrations, and also studied various painting techniques including the Kano, Tosa, Rinpa, Chinese, and Western styles. He achieved his own unique artistic style through a compositional, powerful, and dynamic brushwork. His influence even extended to the French Impressionists. Representative works include "Hokusai Manga," "Thirty-Six Views of Mount Fuji," and "One Thousand Pictures of the Sea."

"Gaifu Kaisei" (Fine Wind, Clear Sky)
Gaifu refers to a southerly wind. This work depicts the phenomenon of Mount Fuji being dyed red by the rising sun in the early morning from late summer to early autumn, and is a popular work both domestically and internationally as an auspicious motif.

Enjoying art in everyday life

This glass tray is inspired by Katsushika Hokusai's masterpiece, "Fine Wind, Clear Morning (Red Fuji)."

Mount Fuji, bathed in the red light of the early morning sun—the so-called "Red Fuji."

This phenomenon is extremely rare, as it can only be seen under limited conditions: clear air in the early morning from summer to autumn.

With its association with "red," which wards off evil, and the beautiful, expanding "eight" of Fuji, Red Fuji has long been considered a symbol of good fortune.

The elegant shine of Kanazawa gold leaf makes this tray perfect for stationery or accessories, allowing you to keep this masterpiece close at hand.

Katsushika Hokusai's "Fine Wind, Clear Morning"

"Gaifu" refers to a southerly wind. This work by Katsushika Hokusai depicts the phenomenon of Mount Fuji being bathed in the red light of the rising sun in the early morning hours of late summer to early autumn. It is commonly known as "Red Fuji." The lush green forest at the foot of the mountain creates a magnificent contrast of colors. The trailing mackerel clouds and the remaining snow on the summit are also characteristic of this season, capturing the fleeting appearance of Mount Fuji as it changes with the seasons.
