Enjoying art in everyday life
This accessory box is inspired by Katsushika Hokusai's masterpiece, "Fine Wind, Clear Morning (Red Fuji)."
Mount Fuji, bathed in the red light of the early morning sun—the so-called "Red Fuji." This phenomenon is extremely rare, as it can only be seen under limited conditions: clear air in the early morning from summer to autumn. With its association with "red," which wards off evil, and the beautiful, expanding "eight" of Fuji, Red Fuji has long been considered a symbol of good fortune.
The elegant shine of Kanazawa gold leaf makes it perfect not only for storing accessories and small items, but also as a beautiful decorative piece. Each box is meticulously handcrafted, making it a popular gift for art lovers or a souvenir for overseas visitors.

Katsushika Hokusai's "Fine Wind, Clear Morning"
"Gaifu" refers to a southerly wind. This work by Katsushika Hokusai depicts the phenomenon of Mount Fuji being dyed red by the rising sun in the early morning hours from late summer to early autumn. It is commonly known as "Red Fuji." The lush green forest at the foot of the mountain creates a magnificent contrast of colors. The trailing mackerel clouds and the snow remaining on the summit are also characteristic of this season, capturing the fleeting appearance of Mount Fuji as it changes with the seasons.
