ABOUT MATERIAL IN TIME
MATERIAL IN TIME is a platform for integrating both the wealth of materials supporting Japanese traditional arts and crafts and new materials created through advanced research and development with design and communicating them to the world. Nowadays, there are a variety of different materials; how does the materials involved in our everyday life, will they align with the times 100 years, or even 200 years from now? There are elements necessary for objects people use that have not changed over the passage of time ‒ that they please the five senses, that they be beautiful to look at and pleasant to touch.
